Affordable Personal Loans are available if you are saving regularly with Transave and can be used for any purpose.
Members can apply for up to five times the amount in their savings to a maximum of £25,000. Your savings then act as security on the loan and cannot be withdrawn as long as your loan balance exceeds your savings balance.
There are no set-up fees, hidden charges or penalties for repaying the loan early and loans are covered by our bereavement fund at no additional cost to the member.
The success of the loan application is based upon your ability to afford repayments and your savings record. However, unlike some other lenders, we do not simply rely on credit scores when considering your application or automatically reject it if you have had financial problems. Using Open Banking we will also look at your transaction history to get a more complete understanding of your financial situation. This helps to ensure you aren’t unfairly excluded from being accepted for a loan.
